Delicious and easy-to-make Spinach Dip Pinwheels featuring a creamy spinach and vegetable mixture wrapped in spinach flour tortillas. Perfect as an appetizer or party snack, these pinwheels combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, bacon, and crunchy water chestnuts for a flavorful bite-sized treat.

Ingredients

Spinach Dip Mixture

  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach (thawed and well-drained)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix (half packet)
  • 4 oz water chestnuts (chopped)
  • ½ cup bacon pieces

Assembly

  • 4 spinach flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Chop water chestnuts: Finely chop the water chestnuts to ensure even distribution throughout the dip mixture.
  2. Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the thawed and drained chopped spinach, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in bacon and water chestnuts: Gently fold the chopped water chestnuts and crispy bacon pieces into the spinach mixture for added texture and flavor.
  4. Spread on tortillas: Lay out one spinach tortilla and evenly spread a quarter of the spinach mixture over its surface. Repeat for all four tortillas.
  5. Roll up tortillas: Starting from one end, roll each tortilla up tightly to form a pinwheel shape.
  6. Chill pinwheels: Wrap each rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour to set.
  7. Slice and serve: When ready, unwrap the rolls, slice off the ends, then cut each roll into 6 pieces about 1 inch thick. Arrange on a platter and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Ensure spinach is well-drained to prevent soggy pinwheels.
  • Use softened cream cheese for easier mixing.
  • The Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix adds flavor—substitute with your favorite vegetable seasoning blend if unavailable.
  • Refrigerate pinwheels for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld and make slicing easier.
  • For a vegetarian version, omit bacon or use vegetarian bacon substitute.
  • Serve chilled for best taste and texture.
